days, far too long

days
far too long
nights
not long enough

there is no secret
so I am told
to the business
of getting old

    1. I have been there with my own mother a few years ago now. I truly hope that she gets the rest she deserves and the help that she needs. It is very annoying that there is still this 17/18 year old me inside my head that my body refuses to co-operate with. When, as a society, we see people age on the surface we would do well to remember the young person often trapped inside.
