Things I learned from TV this week:

– Watching Wildebeest roam The Serengeti makes me sleepy
– Flocks of migrating birds look like dots on a big screen
– I still don’t understand basic science or maths
– Climate change is easy to agree and then disagree on
– Teaching history is “key in the 21st century”
– History is not being taught in many schools
– Much of modern art is thought provoking
– A lot of modern art is not very good, expensive trash
– The euro and the euro zone is in crisis
– I have no idea where the euro zone is
– Earth is getting smaller and population bigger
– The resources of Earth will be finished before tea time
– First World War soldiers have died out
– Exam results are “getting better all the time”
– The answers are given to teachers in advance
– Preparing a 3 course meal is a piece of cake
– I could bake a cake if I wanted to (I don’t)
– News programmes are all doom laden and moronic
– The happy news story at the end is far too short
– Young people drink far too much alcohol
– Alcohol is extremely cheap in all the supermarkets
– It is almost Christmas and I should go shopping
– Advertising is complex and you need a degree to do it
– All advertising, when done really well, is rubbish
– Apparently a cold front is arriving, somewhere
– There are well over 200 reasons not to have satelite TV
– Government Ministers must have an opinion on everything
– Politicians practice “sound bites” in small white rooms
– I have no idea why people embrace religion
– All of the world’s religions preach peace and harmony
– Mobile phones are easy to hack from a distance
– It is illegal and immoral to hack a mobile phone
– There is another food crisis in Africa
– Band Aid was, after all, a sticking plaster
– My favourite programme is when the screen goes black

– I spill breakfast cereal down my chin when interested
– I no longer spill breakfast cereal down my chin

  1. Love this idea, and yes, Margo good for a prompt…and variations on it !

    BTW
I spill ramen noodles down my chin when paying attention to the screen ☺.
